UNILAG VC PROF. SOFOLUWE IS DEAD
The Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos,Prof.Babatunde Adetokunbo Sofoluwe was allegedly found dead in his apartment this morning.
Another report revealed that he died of Cardiac arrest, he reportedly slumped during a meeting on Friday at the Chambers of the institution and was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital where he was confirmed dead after efforts to revive him failed. He was aged 62. May his soul RIP.

although the news is sad, the journalist should please get his facts right!
He has stated that the VC was found dead in his apartment and in the same paragraph , he states that he collapsed at a meeting and was rushed to LUTH where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
this journalist and the editor should both be relieved of their jobs!

All things belong to Allah SWT, From Him SWT we have come, To Him SWT we shall return. Everything in this World is vanity except our religious faith. Nothing we shall take to Him SWT except our religious faith and good or bad deeds. Our time in this World is like a journey in a flash; Heaven or Hell as the case maybe is for us to choose between as home. That is the more reason why we should try our best to be the best in observing Allah’s SWT’s Laws – Do good at all time and use your position well to benefit all not minding their status; religious faith; colours; tribes etc. I know the late VC placed embargo on employment without any just reason. He refused to pay certain benefits to workers on Campus. He increased MBA Fees without the option of installment payment. He increased Fees exorbitantly and so deprived a lot of people the opportunity to go to school in this hard days of Nigeria. In Islam, people are not to jubilate over the death of another, but in Nigeria we jubilated when Abacha died, why? Because he perpetuated all kind of evil decision on us. This VC has gone without taking any of is expensive cars bought with School money. Well he has gone to face God. Allah SWT will judge because He Alone is the Ultimate Judge.
